Life Lessons from History

On the topic of the Holocaust there are many different things you could learn about. How many people died, why Hitler hated jews, but I’m going to talk about what I learned about the beginning of the Holocaust. Hitler enrolled in an art school so he could pursue his love of art, but the teachers (mostly Jews) said his art wasn’t good enough and kicked him out. From then on he hated all jews and joined the army. I understand why he hates all jews just because a few said his art was terrible. Once I was walking home from the bus stop and we saw our neighbor’s German Shepherd, the dog hated us so when we walked by, he jumped up and bit my brother’s arm. Since then, I have been afraid to go any where near any big dog. Hitler had a similar experience with jews than what I had with dogs, but that gave him no reason to try to kill them all. In conclusion Hitler had no reason to kill all of those jews even if he had a bad experience with a few of them.

Another thing I learned related to the Holocaust is Hitler didn’t only kill Jews. If your head wasn’t the right size, or if your nose was to big, or even if you had a Jew in your family at all he would go and kill you. Hitler had about the same problem I do. Not the whole killing people thing but about handling problems the right way. Instead of hurting someone or something just listen to some good music or do something to get your mind off it. Again I don’t believe World War II would have ever happened if Hitler could have controlled his temper a little better.
